Welcome back everyone. I must apologize for my absence the past few months. As you know, in my other life I am a high school teacher. I've been rather busy. The September-December block of the school year is always the busiest and most stressful. Our Covid protocols are also making the school year much more difficult. I've been arriving home pretty tired and my weekends have been spent playing catch-up with my school work. I find I'm having to work harder than ever to keep the kids engaged and dialed in. I'm not complaining. I love my job. I always tell you the truth here though and that's the truth.
On to the main purpose of today's blog. I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. I'm looking forward to spending a quiet Christmas with my family. There are no big gatherings this year and that is more than alright with me. We'll visit my mother for Christmas Eve. Christmas Day will be spent with the kids...church in the morning followed by a big breakfast. The big breakfast is our Christmas tradition that we have been doing for many years. It's my favourite part of the day, even more than opening gifts. Honestly, I'm not terribly interested in gifts at this point in my life. I have everything I want. I have an abundance of riches in my life and in my home. I'm grateful for all of it. Material possessions are temporary things that bring no joy or happiness. Sure they are useful and like anyone else there are some things I would like to be able to buy and own. Time has taught me that whatever happiness possessions do provide is only temporary. At some point we must pay attention to what is within us. Do we have peace in our minds and in our hearts? Are we kind and compassionate? Do we help others? Do we practice forgiveness of others and ourselves? Do we contribute to something greater than ourselves? Is the world a better place because you are in it? These are the thoughts on my mind this Christmas. I would encourage you to spend some time with these questions. If we don't have our health, both mental and physical, then what do we have? If our loved ones do not have their mental and physical health, then how can we have any peace within ourselves? So this Christmas, the team at Legit Raw wishes you peace.

Soon, very soon, Legit Raw will be bringing a new product to market. In January 2022 we release our line of hand and body lotions. Same amazing flavours that match our hand soaps. I am not a lotion guy at all but I've been using these for a few months now as they have been in development and I can honestly say they have me reconsidering my no lotion approach. We are putting the finishing touches on the packaging elements-bottles, caps etc-and then we are doing a photo shoot for the website. From there we head into production of our first run.
