Legit Raw Cares

Step 1:

Local action. Currently we are exploring ways we can partner with and support small local businesses. We started this process when Legit Raw went from being an idea to a reality. Your free gift with purchase of the 3-pack hand soap will come from a local small business. This is just the beginning. We will be sourcing some of our hand soap ingredients from local suppliers and local farms. Legit Raw supports small business and the entrepreneurial spirit. 

Step 2:

National action. Legit Raw is proud to support Friends of the Earth Canada https://foecanada.org/.  As a Canadian company we wanted to support a Canadian charity with our first product launch. Friends of the Earth takes a multi-faceted approach to improving our planet’s health. One approach they take is to help change Canadian legislation. Business needs to be held accountable for how our actions impact our planet. One way to do this is through laws and legislation so that our courts have the power to protect our planet. We also admire their commitment to bee health, removing plastics from our oceans, and fighting to save Canadian forests. 

Step 3:

Global action. Our future goal is to support rainforest health. We are currently looking at the best ways we can support some of those charities. Legit Raw is also learning how to best support fair trade farming. Because many of our ingredients are natural, it is important to us that we support our farmers who are engaging in eco friendly and sustainable farming practices. This takes some work as there is much to learn. Follow our blog for future announcements on Legit Raw’s support of global initiatives. 

Legit Raw Cares is an important part of what we do and why we do it. The entrepreneurial spirit is important to us at Legit Raw. We believe that success and a healthy planet do not need to be mutually exclusive.
